Welcome to Osteria del Baccalà Da Linda, a charming culinary gem nestled in the picturesque setting of Piazza G. Marconi, Stra, Italy. This family-run osteria is famous for its exceptional seafood dishes, particularly its baccalà, which means cod in Italian, an ingredient that plays a central role in their flavorful offerings.
The accolades from satisfied patrons highlight the restaurant's ability to serve some of the best pasta dishes in the region. One diner, Wade Wilson, described his experience as “one of the best pasta I’ve ever had,” praising the dish's savory saltiness which many find delightful. A tip for newcomers: if you relish bold flavors, you're in for a treat!
Another guest, Debrina Agnes, applauded the location's convenience near the bus stop and the warm service. Her experience was enhanced by a complimentary meringue alongside a slightly pricier but delicious cappuccino. It's this attention to customer satisfaction that has made Osteria del Baccalà Da Linda a beloved spot among locals and travelers alike.
For those seeking a taste of Italian cuisine prepared with love, Ana Ienascu shared her delightful encounter despite a private party surrounding. She emphasized the warm treatment from the staff, showcasing their commitment even under bustling circumstances. Such hospitality, paired with dishes like risotto with baccala mantecato—a delicate mix of cod and chanterelles—invites diners to feel at home.
Victoria Collis noted the restaurant's unique approach to traditional flavors, recommending the house-special baccala alongside fried vegetables, perfectly matched with a glass of ribolla gialla wine. Each bite speaks to the robust culinary tradition of Italy, yet presented with an artful twist that could easily compete for gourmet accolades. With so much to offer, you might find yourself wishing for more room to explore the sizzling desserts like the delectable millefeuille with figs.
Concluding your culinary adventure here is a requirement, as even simple coffee comes with a delightful homemade meringue. Alexander Grantcharov echoed these sentiments, noting the osteria’s potential for Michelin-star level dining thanks to its unique, delicious, and artfully presented dishes.

Fantastic place. One of the best pasta I’ve ever had. Everything is very salty (and I love it). Just be aware.

I'm willing to give it 5 stars despite the /slightly/ expensive cappuccino because of their good service. I think this place is actually one of the best in Stra, as I saw flock of people coming in and out of this place. We had a nice cappuccino here and they gave us meringue as a bonus, too! So nice. And the location is also close to the bus stop, which is super great!

We had a great time and some very tasty pasta at this family osteria. Altough we happened to be there during a private party, we were still served and treated with much appretiated warmth. This is not an encouragement to crash peoples' parties but we happened to be there and had a wonderful time. (Happy birthday, Linda!)

We had an excellent lunch here on our way to the Villa Pisana. The service is great, the room is charming, and the food is of very good quality and well priced. This is a restaurant where someone has decided to double down on doing what they know as well as they possibly can, and it really pays off. We ate risotto with baccala mantecato and chanterelles/finferli. This was delicate and delicious, with just a little mint. We then ordered two of the baccala secondi - the house special with tomatoes and potatoes, and the fried baccala with fried vegetables. Both were wonderful, and paired well with the ribolla gialla we chose. We wished we had room for pudding, since the list looked better than usual (I had my eye on millefeuille with figs), but made do with coffee and a homemade meringue. If you're in the area, eat at Linda's. You won't regret it
